Product Introduction

1. Ginger Processing Production Line Working Process

Ginger Processing Production Line

Our Ginger Processing Production Line turns fresh ginger into dried ginger slices or ginger powder through cleaning, peeling, slicing, drying, grinding, and packaging.

Typical Flow:

Fresh Ginger → Washing → Peeling → Air Drying → Slicing → Mesh Belt Drying → Grinding → Powder Packaging

For dried ginger slices, the process can end after the main drying stage.

For ginger powder, the dried slices are further ground before being packed.

2. Ginger Processing Flow

Ginger Processing Production Line

1. Washing — Ginger Washing Machine

Fresh ginger is fed into the Ginger Washing Machine to remove soil and surface impurities. Continuous washing provides a cleaner feed for the following peeling process.

2. Peeling — Spiral Brush Roller Peeling Machine

The washed ginger enters the Spiral Brush Roller Peeling Machine, where rotating brush rollers remove the outer skin. The brush roller design is suitable for irregularly shaped ginger and helps reduce manual peeling work.

3. Air Drying — Air Drying Machine

After washing and peeling, the ginger passes through the Air Drying Machine to remove surface moisture. This helps prepare the ginger for slicing without replacing the main drying process.

4. Slicing — Ginger Slicing Machine

The peeled ginger is processed by the Ginger Slicing Machine, which cuts it into relatively uniform slices. Consistent slice thickness helps improve drying consistency.

5. Mesh Belt Drying — Mesh Belt Dryer

The sliced ginger enters the Mesh Belt Dryer for the main dehydration process. Adjustable belt speed and drying conditions allow the dryer to accommodate different slice thicknesses and final moisture requirements.

6. Grinding — Ginger Grinding Machine

For powder production, the dried ginger slices are transferred to the Ginger Grinding Machine. The grinder reduces the dried slices to the required particle size for powder production.

7. Powder Packaging — Powder Packaging Machine

The finished ginger powder is transferred to the Powder Packaging Machine for filling and sealing. The machine supports consistent filling and efficient final-product packaging.

4. Ginger Processing Equipment for Different Production Needs

A complete ginger processing line machine setup does not have to be identical for every factory.

For smaller operations, the essential washing, peeling, slicing, drying, and packaging equipment may be sufficient.

For larger industrial applications, conveyors and additional material-handling equipment can be integrated to reduce manual transfer between machines.

When powder production is required, grinding and powder packaging can be added after the drying section.

The final equipment arrangement should therefore be determined by the desired product and production scale.

5. Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I determine the required production capacity and equipment configuration?

The required capacity is based on the amount of fresh ginger available for processing per hour or per day. For a complete quotation, useful information includes the target product, desired output, slice thickness, final moisture target, powder requirements, and available workshop conditions.

2. Can the ginger processing line be installed or expanded in an existing workshop?

Yes. The equipment and conveyors can be arranged according to the available workshop space, material flow, drainage, power supply, and packaging requirements. If future expansion is planned, additional grinding, conveying, packaging, or other equipment can be added when sufficient space and suitable connection points are available.

3. Does the line require a large amount of manual labor?

The labor requirement depends on the automation level. Operators may still be needed for raw material inspection, equipment monitoring, and packaging supervision, while the main processing operations are handled by mechanical equipment.

4. Can I purchase individual machines or use the equipment for other root crops?

Yes. Individual machines can be supplied when a customer already has part of the processing system. Some equipment may also be suitable for other root or agricultural products, but suitability depends on the material’s shape, hardness, size, moisture content, and processing requirements.
